Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Onverto. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Onverto
Onverto is a trust and verification platform for social commerce in Lebanon. We verify sellers and buyers to reduce fraud and enable safer transactions between consumers and social media merchants operating on Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Lebanon to register on Onverto. By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Account Registration
Accounts are registered via a verified Lebanese phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Seller Obligations
Sellers must complete Onverto's KYC verification process by submitting a government-issued ID, a selfie, and product photographs. Sellers agree to fulfill orders in good faith, communicate delivery timelines clearly, and resolve disputes promptly. Misrepresentation of products or fraudulent activity will result in immediate account suspension.
5. Buyer Obligations
Buyers must provide accurate delivery information when placing an order. Refusing delivery without valid reason, repeatedly cancelling confirmed orders (ghost orders), or abusing the dispute process may result in a reduction of your trust score or account suspension.
6. Orders & Payments
Onverto facilitates the order process but does not process payments on behalf of sellers or buyers. Transactions are conducted directly between the parties, predominantly via cash on delivery (COD). Onverto bears no liability for payment disputes between users.
7. Subscription Plans
Verified sellers may subscribe to Onverto's Basic or Pro plans on an annual basis. Subscription fees are collected manually via Whish Money or OMT after admin approval. Subscriptions are non-refundable once activated. Failure to pay within 7 days of approval will expire the verification approval.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not use Onverto to sell counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited goods; harass other users; create multiple accounts; manipulate reviews or ratings; or engage in any activity that violates Lebanese law.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, and trademarks on Onverto are the property of Onverto or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
Onverto provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for losses arising from transactions between users, delivery failures, or third-party services. Our maximum liability to any user shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut, Lebanon.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Onverto after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users via WhatsApp for material changes.
